DeSantis said the $5.5 million would construct a 3-mile track for Cecil Airport’s Commerce Center.

“This project alone is expected to bring 500 new jobs in manufacturing and logistics to the area with an economic impact of over $14 million for the City of Jacksonville,” DeSantis said.

The governor said this would link the main rail line north of Interstate 10 to the Cecil Commerce Center.
