Dusty May has completely rebuilt the Michigan Wolverines’ roster from the ground up. Over the last month, the Wolverines have gone from almost an entirely empty roster to just one scholarship remaining, so long as both Nimari Burnett and Jace Howard return.

Even with crystal balls cast for former Florida Atlantic center Vlad Goldin and interest for many others, May continues to attack the transfer portal. This time, he’s touched base with former Duke forward TJ Power.

Power was a former five-star recruit thanks to his ability to stretch the floor with his shooting at 6-foot-9. However, he averaged less than seven minutes per game in 26 contests this year for the Blue Devils. He scored only 2.1 points per game on 33.3 percent shooting from the field and 35.7 percent from deep as a freshman.

What makes it intriguing from the Michigan side of things is after Lorenzo Cason’s commitment Tuesday morning, May only has one scholarship offer to play with. This has been assumed for the aforementioned Goldin, but it could be an indication of several roster moves still at play.

This report could also be a bit outdated because of all the movement Michigan has had with commitments and all the names the coaching staff has touched base with over the past few days. Either way, May has done an unbelievable job building a competitive roster and could be in line to add even more players that fit his system.
