The skies over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) cleared on Friday, bringing relief to travellers as Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced the resumption of its flights.
In a statement issued by the PIA spokesperson, it was confirmed that air operations have returned to normalcy following the restoration efforts by the local aviation administration.
Passengers affected by previously cancelled flights are being prioritised for accommodation on upcoming flights. In addition, plans are underway to schedule more flights to enhance passenger convenience during this period.

To stay updated on flight information, passengers are urged to maintain contact with PIA's call centre at 786 786 111, the spokesperson said.
The development comes on the heels of PIA's recent announcement regarding the suspension of flight operations to Dubai and Sharjah due to adverse weather conditions in the UAE.
During the peak of the storm, the airport had to cancel 13 flights and divert five others due to the adverse weather conditions.
Last month, severe weather conditions, including heavy rains and lightning storms, wreaked havoc across the region, leading to the closure of schools and offices.
